2025 Ford Escape

For the 2025 model year, Ford offers the Escape in five trims to cater to different needs and preferences. The entry-level Active has 17-inch alloy wheels, LED signature lighting, and a stylish Piano Black grille with a chrome strip. Upgrades on the ST-Line include 18-inch Rock Metallic-painted aluminum wheels, black roof rack side rails, and a unique grille with black mesh and bars. The ST-Line Select adds a power liftgate and LED fog lamps, while the ST-Line Elite gets headlamps with an LED light bar and 19-inch machined-face Ebony-painted alloys. The 2025 Escape offers three capable engine options. The Escape Active and ST-Line feature the 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine with 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. Ford equips the ST-Line Select, ST-Line Elite, and Platinum trims with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine that delivers an impressive 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The 2.5-liter iVCT Atkinson-Cycle I-4 Hybrid engine with a combined system output of 192 horsepower and 155 pound-feet of torque is optional on all models.

The latest Escape delivers impresses with its performance, fuel economy, and smooth ride quality. With the 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine, the SUV achieves up to 28 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway, and it earns up to 22 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine. The hybrid powertrain offers 44 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway, making it an excellent choice for fuel-conscious drivers. Independent MacPherson strut-type suspension with a stabilizer bar and a rear suspension with double lateral link semi-trailing arms and a stabilizer bar ensure a comfortable, stable ride. All-wheel drive is available across all trims for increased traction and control. Selectable drive modes, including Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, and Deep Snow/Sand, allow drivers to tailor the Escape's performance to the driving conditions. When properly equipped, models with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine offer a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds.
